Parent Club meeting cancelled 

Due to the Athletic Meeting, the Parent Club meeting for Thursday, March 11, 2010 has been cancelled.

 

APA to host charity auction

On March 26 APA will be hosting a charity auction and benefit dinner to raise funds for our athletic program.   This is your chance to help support APA athletics by donating any items that we can use in our auction.   A supporting patron of APA has donated 250 meals we will cook and serve the evening of the auction as well.   PLEASE plan to attend this dinner/auction and spread this information to all family and friends.   We need as many people to come as possible as this will be a major contributor to our athletic department.  Please contact Alex Bare with questions or items to donate to the auction.  (765) 356-0017

Parent Club information

The Parent Club is selling a set of 3 ribbon holders for $4.00.  Ribbons are $2.00.  Contact Lt. Shively to purchase or for more information.  Each advacenment in rank earns a ribbon.   Due to the cost, the CAP department can no longer provide ribbons.

Makeup days scheduled

Makeup day for Wednesday - February 10 has been tentatively set for Monday - May 24, 2010.

Tardy Policy updated

This is notification that Anderson Preparatory Academy is going to start cracking down on the tardies to school.  We encourage cadets to be here by 8:10 AM so that attendance and lunch counts can be taken before assembly.  The tardy policy is as follows:

·         Arriving to homeroom after 8:20 AM is considered “tardy” to school.

·         3 tardies to school in one six weeks grading period will result in an automatic one day out of school suspension.

·         5 tardies to school in one six weeks grading period will result in a 5% grade reduction in every class and a review for expulsion.

·         If the cadet is late because of an appointment, simply bring a note from that appointment.
