There is no homework over the weekend, but I let cadets know they could start on the chapter review if they wanted to,pages 142-143 Evens.  It will be assigned when we come back from break.

• Today is the last day of work stations.  Everything has to be turned in today.  Test Station: Unit 2 Benchmark test.  Cadets were allowed to work on this with their partner.
• The first book report is due Tuesday, December 2.
• Cadets should be reading over break.
• Have a good Thanksgiving!

Today we are finishing Section 1 of Chapter 5. Students are to complete the section review and take notes in class.

There is NO HOMEWORK for the weekend!

Delta & Alpha's Rough Draft is due Wednesday. I will go over them and hand them back after Thanksgiving Break.

Final paper is due December 5th and should include:

500-700 words

Include title page and source page

Each Page should be numbered

12 point font/New Roman Times

1" margins

* scientist name, birthplace, family & early childhood

* education and important influences

* scientific breakthroughs, awards and inventions

* How his/her work changes life today for the better.

*Personal opinions are appropriate especially in the introduction and the conclusion

Homework for tonight is Jokes # 56 and 57. 

There WILL be homework over the Thanksgiving Break if Wednesday's assignment is not finished during class!

Attention parents who use the after school program!  There will be no after-school program Wednesday Nov. 26.  The building will be closed imediately after school so that all of our staff can begin the Thanksgiving holiday.

Alpha continue working on final presentations.

Tonight, the only homework is to read 20 minutes.  Tomorrow, we will continue with our unit exam.

If anyone has extra Christmas decorations, I'd be glad to put them up in the room.  Thank you!

Chapter 7 Take Home Test needs to be completed over Thanksgiving break and turned in on Monday at the begining of class.

 

 

NO Science homework

Kolb homeroom persmission slips and money for the field trip are due tomorrow.

Students who participated in the fund raising project should pick up their orders at Gordon Food Service today between 4 and 6 p.m.

• Field trip permission and money due tomorrow.
• Writing work station:  Cadets are to write on the topic of their choice. Cadets will have a pre-write, rough draft, and final copy.  Alpha/Bravo=3 paragraphs.  Charlie/Delta= 2 paragraphs.  Cadets should make sure that they stick to their topic, use interesting words, have logical order, different sentence patters, and descriptive sentences. 
• First book report is due next Tuesday.
• All assignments pertaining to the work stations are due at the end of class tomorrow.

Today students have their 8 minute jogging quiz. Cadets have been working really hard lately to make it to the 8 minutes. I think every cadet is capable of jogging the full 8 minutes and will be able to succeed. After jogging, students will learn how to shoot a goal in team handball and play a game.

Normally, our students do not come to SSC on Monday mornings and come on Monday afternoons.  Then, we don't usually have students on Tuesday afternoon to make room for speech classes.

Tomorrow, we WILL see the students in the p.m. and a.m.  No homework tonight.

NOTE:  SSC Progress Reports should be able to be viewed by tomorrow as they will update tonight at midnight.
