9 Blue - Section 1 - Art

Today we practiced drawing faces. We will do a few more practice days before I set you loose upon the "Three Men on a Raft" illustrations. No homework, but if you would like extra credit, you may draw three faces. In order to qualify for the extra credit, you must take your time on the faces. I will not accept faces that were drawn in thirty seconds. See you Wednesday!

6-8 Delta - Art

Today we began working on the Monochromatic project. Please keep the worksheet and the grading rubric with you. You will need to bring both items to class. They will be turned in when you turn your work in for the final grade. I will only have a small ammount of extras. It is EXTREMELY important that you be responsible for these items, as the worksheet/paragraph is worth 40% of the grade. No homework. We will work in class on the project Friday. Have a great week!

Grade 9 World History & Geography

Monday (blue) & Tuesday (silver) we'll be watching videos about WW I and WWII.

Students should be memorizing the pivotal dates of US history and be able to retell the events in their own words (timeline and notebook.)

Every day: Students need to bring colored pencils, a pen, their notebook and timeline. I will be grading them each day to see if they are prepared for class.

CONGRATULATIONS to students on their US state projects! They did a great job.
