We started notes over chapter 17.1 on Moisture and the Atmosphere. The assignment for Monday is p 508/ 1-8.

7 Alpha needs to complete the 7 entries on the sales tax chart.  We played "PERCENTO" and many cadets earned 5 points extra credit for winning the game!

7 Bravo played a game called "THE FACTOR GAME" with 100 numbers - the winning 1/2 of the class will receive 5 points extra credit!

We will continue with percent lessons on Friday.  ISTEP is over for now!

Thursday/Friday was a prep day for the test. We checked answers over 36.2 and 36.3, muscles and skin. Assignment is p 917/ 1-10all, 11, 15, 20, 23, 29 and p 939/ 1-10 all, 12, 17, 23, 32. The test will be Monday/Tuesday and it covers chapters 36 and 37.

We are finishing our study of PowerPoint.   All lessons and tests are due by Friday - March 5, 2010.  The computer lab is open this week on Tuesday and Thursday after school for students to finish lessons.

Homework:

7th - No homework

8th - Finish Traveling West Map from class

Today you finished the illustration assignments. We will be moving on next week. No homework. Have a good evening and a good weekend!

6 Bravo and 8 Bravo: IN CLASS (3-4-10):

1. Finish map activity with partner.

2. Turn in class notes for grade.

HOMEWORK: Bring class notebook and 2 sharpened pencils.

All students should bring a pencil, protractor, ruler with centimeters to class on Friday.  We will be making a sundial for our latitude in class.

Blue:  Read chpts. 8-10 in Great Expectations.  Complete questions in G.E. Packet.  Study lit. terms.

Geometry (sections 1 and 2)- 8.1 Pop Quiz; Math/Newspaper Essays; homework- "Redo" test problems due by Monday @ 3:00

New Speech deadlines due to some confusion on blue/silver days.

Demo Speeches are on Monday March 8th --March 10th--the students have signed up for their spots.

 Please note the child will need to bring in supplies to demonstrate.

With this in mind, the infommercial commercial has been moved to March 17th
