9 Silver (Section 2) - Art

Today we discussed the use of target audiences and their relation to illustration. You will need to have two examples of illustrations demonstrating the 5 senses that will be presented to me on Tuesday. If you have any questions, see me during the day on Monday, and I will offer some suggestions. Everybody have a good weekend!

Grade 8 ALGEBRA

TEST today worth 75 points.  I tried to hand back all homework so far and let cadets know what missing work needs to be turned in to me on Monday.  4 assignments so far and a test.  IF all 4 assignments are turned in - then no homework!

Have a great weekend!

Grade 7 Pre-Algebra (Alpha and Bravo)

We did an M & M 's Activity today.  Cadets were to make a chart to show color, #, fraction, decimal, and percent for their bag.  Some cadets completed that and were able to find the degrees that would be represented on a 360 degree circle.  We will be making a circle graph to match their chart entries on Monday.  Class would run so much smoother if cadets would bring their items to class daily.  Today only 4 had calculators out of each class.  I will expect cadets to have colored pencils and a calculator on Monday for the circle graph - and if they don't, I will take off points on participation.  I ask cadets to bring daily:  textbook, homework, binder with a folder for math only, lined notebook paper (not spirals), pencils, erasers, pencil sharpener, colored pencils, and a calculator.  We would be much farther in the math concepts for the year if all cadets would have their supplies!

No new homework - only to gather supplies and be organized on Monday!

Have a nice weekend!
