Today we reflected polygons - one line of reflection was the y-axis and the other was a diagonal @ 45 degrees.  Cadets are to complete the reflections with charts.  No other homework.  If a cadet has missing assignments - they are due for 1 point each on Friday.  If a cadet has any missing assignments and has turned in extra credit - it will not be added in to the grade point total.

I collected books today and many did not turn in their books.  If a book is not turned in - you will be charged for the book.

Thursday in class will be more reflection (flip) problems.

Grade 7 Pre-Algebra (Alpha and Bravo)

Today we transformed using rotation.  We talked about 1/4 (90 degrees), 1/2 (180 degrees), and 3/4 (270 degrees) turns both clockwise (c) and counter-clockwise (cc).  Cadets do have 2 homework assignments to complete.  One started in class and another on a worksheet with the polygon "DARON" to slide.  Tuesday we will reflect (flip) the original polygon.  You should continue to see homework at least through Thursday.  I handed back graded work (3 assignments and a quiz.)
