Here is a summary of the items we discussed at the Parent Meeting, Thursday, September 10^th:

APA School Board President John Riley spoke about our need for a sidewalk, and the need for corporate sponsors.

Commandant Bob Guillaume spoke about APA Spirit Wear, and possible Spirit Day when kids can wear APA spirit clothes, after meeting certain criteria.

Sandy Fanning spoke about 21^st Century Scholars.

Annie Keller spoke about the Skating party, we raised $330 next one MLK Day.

Current Fundraisers:

Boxtops for education-Angie Shively – first contest ends September 30. 

Paper drive-ends September 15^th.  Marsh Fresh Idea Cards-earn $$ for APA when you & your friends use Marsh cards. 

Goods Candy Ice cream truck pre-sales for open house Bumper sticker slogan contest

APA OPEN HOUSE: September 26^th, 9 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  Tour the school, meet APA staff and Teachers, parent information in gym, Goods Ice cream truck

Upcoming Fundraisers:  Goods Chocolate sale at soccer game September 25^th and open house to benefit Parents Club & soccer teams.

Next Meeting      Thursday, October 8^th at 6:30.    Parents club meetings are always the 2^nd Thursday of each month at 6:30

APA SCHOOL DANCES - Kelli Zard:  

6^THthru 8^th grades-80 theme, Rubiks cubes etc. November 20th

9^th grade theme Funky & Elegant,   Dec 11th
