Several Cadets attended the Anderson Public Library's annual Read ‘n’ Feed 2009. A teen-only event, students from area schools were invited for pizza and conversation with a prominent author of books for kids and young adults. You can read about one Cadet's experience on our Events page.
- Cadets Visit Eliza Baker Elementary School
Dr. Maxfield's 8th-grade Creative Writing class recently spent a day with the 1st-grade class at Eliza Baker Elementary School, presenting the class with books that the Cadets wrote and illustrated themselves. You can read about the students' experience on our Events page.

- U.S. Congressman Visits APA
Representing Indiana's 6th District, U.S. Congressman Mike Pence toured our school recently, and, in an inspiring speech, reminded the students of great patriots in U.S. history.
- Winter Dance 2008
Over 100 Cadets attended the Winter Dance on Dec. 12. Judging from the smiling faces, the event was an enormous success! All week, students made decorations and parents helped display numerous Christmas trees and lights throughout the school gymnasium. Special thanks go out to the Parents Club for making it all possible!
