Anderson Preparatory Academy (APA) is a military style academy for girls and boys. Our school focuses on a college preparatory curriculum of liberal arts and sciences, giving students with different passions equal oppurtinities. As a public charter school, we are tuition-free and enrollment is open to any student in the state of Indiana.
APA was founded on Academics, Leadership, and Citizenship as is symbolized in our logo, three soaring jets in a pyramid formation. The leading jet represents academics while being flanked by jets representing leadership and citizenship. Today we continue that tradition in and out of the classroom, empowering students through the education and training necessary to become academic and social leaders.
Using differentiated and individualized instruction and a blended rotation methodology, APA students receive a proper public education providing the foundation and training necessary to prepare today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders. Teachers and faculty at all levels expect excellence not only from students but also from themselves and their peers. Enrolling your student in APA assures they will learn in a safe, structured, disciplined, and creative environment teaching them honor, trust, patriotism, and respect for self, community and country.
Our mission is to Cultivate Scholars, Empower Leaders, and Instill Core Values.
