Congratulations are in order for Junior, Class of 2025, Gavin Mitchell. He graduates from Ivy Tech with his Technical Cert. in Legal Studies today and then will finish his AS in Legal Studies in December 2024. Gavin is slated to graduate from APA with his high school diploma in May of 2025.
Gavin is a varsity athlete in basketball and track, winning the Madison County Tourney Highest GPA Award presented by Pizza Hut this season. He was named a member of our PAAC Student-Athlete Leadership Conference team. He is also a member of NHS, a coach for a local basketball team, and is ranked 4th in his class.
Gavin's perseverance to maintain high standards throughout his high school and now college career is truly admirable. We can't wait to see how he makes his dreams take flight next.
Wish he and his mom congratulations; they'll both walk across the stage today, as she's graduating, too. 😉
