Last week, APA's Be the Majority representative, Alicia Benitez, read to Miss Fraley's class. Her mission was to teach kindergarteners about inclusivity, acceptance, and how small acts of kindness can change the world! We're so grateful to Intersect, Inc. and their Be the Majority campaign teaching Madison County kids that the majority of their peers are NOT participating in using alcohol, drugs, or tobacco. Today, junior Alicia Benitez was honored at Intersect, Inc.'s annual appreciation luncheon. Her participation in their Be the Majority campaign is coming to a close but her lasting impact on our school culture will remain. Alicia is the perfect example of a young adult who has made the decision to remain alcohol, drug, and tobacco free. See us at our Elementary location (2200 W. 22nd Street, Anderson, IN 46016), tonight from 4p-7pm, tomorrow from 9a-3p, and Saturday from 9a-1p.
