Congratulation to our Pre-Academy Cross Country team! They recently ran their final meet of the season at the Pioneer Academic Athletic Conference (PAAC). Ending her season on a high note, Emilee Highsmith placed 7th. Also wrapping up well run seasons, Ricky Martinez and Ethan Highsmith ran great races.

Anderson Preparatory Academy is excited to announce that our cadets will be participating in a program called “Honor Their Courage,” offered by Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).

Leading up to Veterans Day, we will be learning about the history, sacrifices, and experiences of service members and fundraising to support injured veterans. Last year we raised enough funds for WWP, we were able to invite a veteran to speak to our cadets. We're hoping to make that goal again!

🎃 Science, farming, and five-senses fun! 🎃 Our kindergarteners became real agricultural scientists today! As part of our social studies unit on farming and the pumpkin life cycle, we rolled up our sleeves and did some hands-on exploring. A big thank you to SFC Thomas Lewis, Station Commander and Talent Acquisition Specialist with [@U.S. Army Recruiting Station Anderson], for coming out to APA to lead PT for our CAP cadets! SFC Lewis walked our cadets through the same warm-up routine soldiers use to get ready for their PT workouts, and showed them why each movement matters. Our cadets got a first-hand look at the discipline and preparation the Army builds into every workout, and they kept up the whole way. We appreciate SFC Lewis giving his time and experience to our students. College Application Week

SEPTEMBER 21-25, 2026

College Application Week is part of College GO! And is a national initiative of the American College Application Campaign (ACAC). The goal is to help high school seniors navigate the college admissions process and ensure each student submits at least one admissions application.

Many Indiana universities join in the celebration by taking away their college application fees for a week or longer so that students can apply for free.
