Another successful APA Cheer clinic performance last night. We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported these future Jet cheerleaders.

Congratulations to our Gianna Peak and Brando Hernandez (not pictured) for being a 2025 Anderson Gaslight Festival Essay winner! Both Gianna and Brando earned second place in their respective age ranges.
They will each receive a $50 winning prize as well as some Anderson Gaslight Festival shirt, along with some other goodies.
Winners of the essay contest and their families are also invited to ride on the Anderson Trolley in Gaslight Festival Parade that starts at 11 am. Awards will be given out at a brief ceremony at the Gaslight Festival on August 23, 2025 at Funk Park at 4:00 pm.
We're so proud of them!

Congratulations to Ryan Fathauer for being named APA’s new Athletic Director.
Lt. Fathauer has been with APA for 14 years as a secondary PE teacher, and 2 years as our Varsity Boys Basketball coach.

We are so excited to announce Lt. McBee has been promoted to SRO McBee! He will now be our full-time K-12 School Resource Officer.

We had the honor to host the CAP High Altitude Ballon Challenge again this past weekend. Local cadets and staff from the state and national CAP offices joined us on Guillaume field for launching!

Attn: APA Online families/cadets Computer Pickups for APA Online Cadets: APA Computers will be available for APA Online cadets (all grades) to pickup from the 29th Street media center from 8am-2pm on the first day of school, Monday 8/4. Please enter through the front office. Can't make it between 8am and 2pm on Monday? Email me to schedule a different pickup time. Schedules are in Skyward for all currently enrolled APA Online Cadets grades 9-12: Families/Cadets should be able to login to Skyward to see their schedule now. To learn more about reviewing your cadet’s grades in skyward, please visit: https://www.goapa.org/page/reviewing-grades Most cadets will have 6 or 7 courses on their schedule. Have more than 7 classes? Cadets needing to recover credits in order to stay on target to graduate on time may have more than 7 courses. Have less than 7 classes? Cadets may have fewer courses, depending on the number of credits still needed to graduate. Participating in Sports? Cadets must be taking a minimum of 6 courses (and be pass 5) to be eligible to play in sports at APA. Cadets with fewer than 6 courses are ineligible to participate in IHSAA regulated sports. Playing sports but have less than 6 courses on your schedule? Email me: zmorrison@goapa.org 11th/12th Graders: Attending D26? D26 courses have not been added to APA Online schedules in Skyward. Planning to attend D26 or need more information - be sure to contact Mrs. Averitte - daveritte@goapa.org - so she can get you squared away. Transferred from another school?
