APA Elementary will honor veterans on Friday. November 8 at 1:30 p.m. We welcome any veteran to join us for celebration and song at our convocation. Please enter via the front doors and check in with Ms. Tiffany. Doors open at 1 p.m.
29th St cadets and staff will honor veterans on Monday, November 11 at 2 p.m. We welcome any veteran to join us for celebration at our convocation. Please enter via the front office doors and check in with Mrs. Armstrong. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.

We are excited to host our 2024 Trunk or Treat tonight at APA Elementary! From 5-7 enjoy candy, decorations, and food for sale. Please follow the map attached. Enter at our southeast entrance, follow the arrows and exit by the modular. Once exited from the building please make your way around to the cafeteria but if you don’t want food, you can exit at your leisure. Food is cash only offerings will include pulled pork nachos, caramel apples, pretzels, and capri suns. We can't wait to see all your spooky costumes!
Parents/Guardians must accompany children at all times.

APA's Promfire is this Friday from 7-10 at Guillaume Stadium on Denny Field. We're looking forward to a night of fun for any APA 9-12 grader. $10 to enter and that covers games, food, and drinks.

Pre-Academy families should meet with Homeroom teachers only. If you'd like to meet with other teachers, please reach out to them individually and make an appointment.
Academy families can make appointments with any classroom teacher that is necessary.

The learning doesn't stop at the classroom door as Mr. Moore's Advanced Placement World History class took on Chicago in early October. From exploring the campus of the University of Chicago and Navy Pier, to witnessing jousting and dueling at Medieval Times; these students are always ready to learn wherever they may be.

Last Wednesday, cadets from Walk-A-Thon winning classrooms celebrated their accomplishments! They were treated to pizza, popcorn, and popsicles! We are so grateful to families for banding together and providing opportunities for our cadets to go on more field trips and provide more incentives for our positive behavior CORE Cash Store!

Last Friday, Academy students travelled to the elementary to showcase their dancing and talk about Hispanic heritage to celebrate and honor Hispanic Heritage Month.
